Do you have concerns about your child’s academic, behavioral and/or social performance at school?

• We know that many students are experiencing learning loss and academic gaps due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
• Trauma and mental health difficulties can adversely impact your child’s ability to learn new information.
  • Sometimes it is difficult to know what questions to ask or what the school is required to do to help your child.
• There may be many reasons why your student is experiencing academic or behavioral hardships at school.

What we can do to help:

• Assist you in developing a working relationship with your child’s school in order to get your concerns addressed.
• Help you facilitate a school meeting and/or attend a meeting with you in order to ensure that any academic or social/emotional concerns regarding your child are being addressed.
• Provide guidance on what to request which addresses specific concerns such as suspensions related to behavior outbursts, low assessment scores, or any other concern that is preventing your child from accessing all educational opportunities.

If your child/children need help, reach out and refer them to our Educational Liaison Program. An educational liaison will be in contact with you within 48 – 72 hours.
